All companies, teams, leaders, and individuals are constantly making choices. The question is what drives us to choose one thing over another. In a collective, we need to trust the big choices and how those decisions are made. This builds our faith in the collective and provides us with answers to why we are in the position we are in.
There are many forms of decision making, from dictatorship; buck-stops-here models, to collective voting or random selection. What is most important is that the company as a whole understands the process by which these decisions are being made, and the choice aligns with the companies vision and moral compass.
